Our Story

I’ve always lived by the belief that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. For me, that balance has been tested and proven through two challenges running side by side: pursuing my education while playing college baseball, and building TurfTenders into a trusted landscaping business. At Bluffton University, I study economics and finance while competing as a left-handed hitter and catcher. Baseball has shaped me into someone who values preparation, discipline, and consistency. Those lessons go far beyond the field they define how I approach work, business, and life. When faced with the realities of college tuition and balancing school responsibilities, I chose not to see it as an obstacle, but as an opportunity. Landscaping became my way to take ownership of my future. What started as a practical way to support my education has grown into something far greater — a business that reflects who I am and what I believe in.
